Why would it be important for a Customer Service Representative to be based locally?

  • A disapointed Geni

Director of Monetization?  Now I see Geni’s true mission, the changes to merges and usefull searches going only to PRO make sense now that I see Geni’s mission is monetization, not being the best free Genealogy site.  When folks loose thier founding mission often that is when they begin to fail, Geni should be doing some serious “soul” searching now before it steps all the way over the edge.

  • An outraged user

You also need to hire some QA and usability people and a technical writer, along with someone who understands something about genealogy. Getting the software to work reliably and not do stupid things should take precedence over your monetization schemes.
