Profile of the Day: Alexander Graham Bell
Alexander Graham Bell was a scientist, inventor and engineer who is credited with inventing the first practical telephone. After a controversial race to the patent office between Elisha Grey and Bell, on March 7, 1876 Bell was issued the patent for the telephone.
