Zara Phillips

This weekend, Zara Phillips, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, made her Olympic equestrian debut. With several members of the royal family in attendance to cheer her on, she is now one of the favorites for a medal. Did you know that both of her parents were also Olympic athletes? Her father, Captain Mark Phillips won Olympic gold in 1972 and silver in 1988. Her mother, Princess Anne, competed in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal and serves as a member of the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games.

Zara Phillips is connected to over 60 million profiles in Geni’s World Family Tree. How are you related?

    Good luck, 12th cousin!

(I’d say “break a leg,” but that seems particularly inappropriate when horses are involved…)
