West Hollywood-based Geni said
this week that the firm has improved the firm's site, which allows
users to create family trees and network with family members. The firm
said that it has enhanced the ability to find duplicate profiles in the
service, with automatic advanced searches when users view a profile.
The service said that the new capability will help its users see how
many matches there are, whether or not those are connected or not
connected to a users. Geni's Web 2.0 site allows users to build their
own family trees; the new feature–which have been available, but
weren't run automatically–helps users find information on relatives
which might have already been entered by other people in the system.
