My name is Clara and the gggranddaughter of John(Jack) Ramsey Abercrombie. he was born 1816, his brother is Jess. For 7 years I've been rearching the records for my ancestors Slave Owners. I checked Digital slaveowners records and found Richard and Mary ann Edwards abercrombie in Talladega, AL petition # 201864627 inherited 9 slaves. Two are my relatives. Names listed.
