I met her wen I worked for Piedmont Airlines/US Airways, Winston-Salem, N.C., about 20 years ago. Great grandfather, Lutheran Rev. John Abner Locke Miller was the pastor of the Old Dutch Church, Rural Hall. His son, Wm. Alfred Miller wed Ruby Valerie Woollen (born 1885, age 17 Wachovia Bank's fist female employee, a steno-typist for Col. Fries), the daughter of Confederate musician Sgt. James Anderson Woollen (buried Old Salem) and Susan Caroline Malcolm. Her father was musician Pvt. James Landreth Malcolm, CSA, who wed Elizabeth Page of Guilford and Rockingham Counties, N.C. Mrs. Prim, o her husband (not sure which?) also descended Pvt. Malcolm.Seek data on Malcolm / Malcom family. Jim Miller, Southport, N.C.
