Magsaysay Family Reunion

Hi, members of the Magsaysay/Rodriguez family!

At a luncheon meeting last Nov. 5 at the residence of Rudy/Yasmin Cuenca, several members of the Domingo/Antonina branch (Feliberto Magsaysay, Rudy/Yasmin Cuenca, Maryann Cuenca, Nick and Coco Cuenca),

Domingo/Ambrosia/Calixto branch (Dr. Casto Magsaysay and daughter Wilma, Charito Dinglasan, Tina Advincula, Mita Sevilla-Starr and David Starr),

Domingo/Ambrosia/Exequiel branch (Jun and Marilou Magsaysay),
Domingo/Ambrosia/Ambrosio branch (Mariane Pratte and Rhett Pleno)

met and agreed for a need to have a Magsaysay reunion! The last one was in the mid 1990's at the Polo Club.

Also during the lunch, the sentiment was expressed that the Magsaysays being an entrepreneurial family should help the cause of entrepreneurship in Zambales.

A date of May 5, 2012 was suggested and agreed upon by the group.
Regarding the venue, it was decided that more people can attend the reunion if it was held in MetroManila rather than Zambales.

It was also agreed that the proposal for a Fund to Assist Entrepreneurs in Zambales be launched at that time for the Magsaysay clan to give their support.

Your ideas and suggestions are most welcome.

We were hoping that each of the family branches would please select their leader for this undertaking. This way, it will be much easier to coordinate.

You might be wondering who I am. I am not Gregorio Magsaysay, but needed to identify as such to set up our Geni family tree.
