First Poster!

I've always said that seeing as pretty much ALL of my relationships were with cat-ladies (some crazier than others), then I must be a "cat-person" person, or perhaps myself a cat. Of course I ended up marrying my most beloved wife who's an anti-cat person due to childhood scarring.

I am wildly enjoying this discussion so far. Shmuel, my affection for you just doubled ;^).

Always a cat lover myself, one of the things that attracted me to my husband Dave (married for 4 years now) is that he seems to have this "cat whisperer" magnetism for the cats. They talk to him, they respond to him, paw at him, come and sleep on his chest with their heads nuzzled in his beard.... He's like a Doctor Doolittle for cats (and probably dogs too, but I only have one so I can't generalize). I've myself wondered if perhaps he was a cat in a former life.
