BetterGEDCOM Organizational Changes

I notice from the Geni blog a few weeks ago that Pat Richley-Erickson ("Dear Myrtle") has stepped down as moderator of the BetterGEDCOM Project.

She says, in part, "The concept of asking a volunteer organization to develop updated and forward-thinking standards for genealogy data storage and transfer was a noble one, perhaps doomed from the start."
