Jaffin--Joffin-J???

There are at least three Russian Jaffin branches .New York, Jersey City, Detroit. The New York and Detroit came from the same city of Mogilev in Belarus. The origina; name of teh New York branch appears to be Joffin. Perhaps all three branches are related.
