In South African Genealogies Volume 8 pages143 there is a g5 Andries Johannes du Plessis with no dates - father b1c7d4e5 Andries Stephanus = 1 9 1799 Tulbagh and Maria Hendrina Beyers - married 6 1 1831

BUT on page 145 she is also given as the wife of Andries Johannes du Plessis b1c7d5e6f2 !!!

The following documents would perhaps get answers - does anyone have copies they could share?

Hendrik duPlessis and his relatives had done a lot of research on the duPLessis family. It's quicker for me to alert him on our FB page, because he's more active there, http://www.facebook.com/groups/243811932355680/
but I think he's still on Geni as a non-pro user.
Carol - can you try and follow him up, and see if he can help?.

Carol, Judi is the best one to ask about that. Click on her name on the Welkom Cuzzins page http://www.geni.com/projects/South-Africans-Geni-Landing-Site-WELKO... and message her.

Also check the related duPLessis discussions here and on the SA Geni FB page. http://www.facebook.com/groups/243811932355680/285914691478737/ things are happening!
