It seems I'm the first one to bring relatives from this area as my great grandmother was born there. Her great grandfather Louiz Blank bought land there in Bom Jesus in 1861. Then I found some other history to prove this thanks to Rootsweb and a recent Thesis about the first colonizing german immigrants in this area and found criminal documents involving my relatives which none were found guilty of. Very interesting stories I have just posted under Louiz Blank, one of the patriarchs there.
I wish I could get access to the judicial documents of that era, but don't know how to right now.
If anyone has any more information concerning my family please let me know. In Louiz Blank's profile you will find links to all the new colonizers who bought land around the same time and history from the area. It's all in Portuguese. I can't speak it but I can read it and undestand it as it is similar to Spanish and I'm fluent in it.

Any extra help and I'd greatly appreciate it!
