Dear Russell

There are a number of sources which you could pursue

- copies of military service records are held in the National Archives in UK and Canada
- Fort Niagara in particular has a very active network of researchers and archives

I had a quick look but all I could find was a Thomas Hobbs who fought with the 92nd in Spain

Dear Simon ,
Interesting the information you have come across , my Thomas Hobbs enlisted on 19th September 1809 and discharged from the 103rd 29th April 1818 from the UK national archives I have his discharge papers , I wonder if in those days they did change regiments for different campaigns. TH was born in ST Ives Huntingdonshire in 1791,im interested in the information you have about TH in Spain
Kind Regards
Russell
