Just wanted to present the fact that I have done past research on this person and believe them to be one and the same. Ezekiel Anderson, formerly known as Ezekiel Cole, per family , died in Cass County Michigan in 1850, the father of several descendants. I believe Ezekiel Cole was left with Anderson relatives as a young man, perhaps to help with farm chores, said relatives eventually migrated to Illinois around the time of the War of 1812.

Well I would have no problem collaborating so that we could merge the two profiles if you wanted.

I think that would be wise Lloyd. I will also contact some of the other Cole and Anderson family members and re-open my notes.
A note of family information is that Ezekiel Anderson fought at Horseshoe Bend with Andrew Jackson, 1814. He was listed in the military rolls as Ezekiel Cole.
