I never heard of a "Marvin Miller". There was a Moshe (pronouced "Moishe) Miller, who was roughly the same age as Elsie; he was a sickly boy who died as a child.

Marvin was Aunt Sylvia's first son. Perhaps he was also called Moshe; he died when he was a little boy. I remember seeing his gravestone in the cemetery out on Cedar Lane in Trenton, and the name Marvin is engraved.

Yes, he was around 12 when he died. I was told it was something with his heart that is very curable today. After that is when Arnold was born.

I just spoke with Aunt Elsie, and Marvin was nicknamed Moishele.

Ah! A mystery solved!

Thanks, Sherlock Moses.

It's funny I had never heard that before. Always knew his name was Marvin.

I made a mistake, just spoke to my Mom, Marvin was 9 when he passed away. Arnold was born around the time he would have been 12.

I'm sure there are many things we haven't heard before. Elsie needs to tell us the family secrets. :)

PS: Weren't Bob and Elsie cousins or something? Do you know how that works?

They were second or third cousins, from the Peaver (Beaver) side. Aunt El once said if she looked back far enough, she was probably her own mother.
Also, don't forget, Rose and Dave were step brother and sister.

I'd like to know the exact connection, so we can (once and for all) get it straight in the family tree. Everyone has always told me they were some kind of cousins, but I've never learned the details.

And by now, my mom doesn't remember any of that stuff.

Okay, talked to my Mom.
Uncle Bob's Father, and the infamous original husband of Mary Frankel, you know the Peaver that left her, were brothers. Not sure which cousins that would make them.
Also, amazed to learn that Bill Moses, my cousin, married so rich! My mom confirmed it.

I don't know which cousins either, but I fooled around with the tree enough to get the relationships straight.

Finally! I've always wondered how that worked!

Thanks for finding the answer, cuz!
