It is a "Pro" feature. If you become a paid member, when you click on the "how am I related" button, it will calculate how you are related, and will show you the path of the relation. For me it says "Barbara Pierce Bush is your 19th cousin twice removed" and shows about 40 people to go through to get that relation.
