I see his father's name is available. and Iyengar can be a surname as well. what is the 'dontknow' part?

Thatha (ramaswamy's) dad is veeraraghavan (that is why thatha is tv ramaswamy) but I am trying to get veeraraghavan's appas name- that is, thatha's thatha. My mother does not remember so i need to get it from vasu or kasturi mama. If they have thatha's tarpanam book it would be there in there. Just putting iyengar for unknown first names i felt defeats the purpose or trying to track back our family since technically, we dont have the concept of a surname. Dad's name is what gets attached as last name. Also having a dontknow will at least remind me to check on the unknown names- otherwise it would get lost in the ocean, so to speak. :-)
