Getting the word out.

Hi Everyone. As some of you may or may not know, i was laid off from my Graphic Design job in 2009. I have been using this time to try my hand at freelancing my talents.

For those of you who do not know, Graphic Design is a professional discipline which focus on visual communication and presentation. Various methods are used to create and combine symbols, images and/or words to create a visual representation of ideas and messages.

Common uses of graphic design include magazines, advertisements and product packaging. For example, a product package might include a logo or other artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as shapes and color which unify the piece.

I particularly focus on Desktop Publishing or pre-press. I use my computer to design the piece digitally and then it is transferred to the printer to be printed.
