Do you see sparrows around you? No, you don't. They have perished, so sad. What could be the reasons. Anybody's guess. Felling of trees, cleaner cities resulting in non-availability of its food and water. Most of all it is thought that wireless communication has affected them. I am yet to catch hold of a valid document to conclude, though. Whatever.

There is a need for preservation, proliferation of this harmless small creature.

Mankind has finally unleashed a " Brahmastra" on " Gubbacchi".

Yes sparrws have disappeared from the cities in particular.Fortunately they are still seen in the villages and in the wild. It is said that the cell phone towers emitting waves of high frequency magnetic waves are resposible for their disappearence.Total urbanisation with all cement structures and congested streets with high vehicular traffic may be contributing also. The cement structures are not congenial for them to build the " Gubbachi Goodu " and the continuous traffic coming intheir way to have their
" Gubbachi Snana ". Dr.C.G.Narasimhan.Mysore.
