We have Christopher Dabinot born about 1575 in Marshwood Vale, Dorset, Eng. He was of Huguenot extraction and a very wealthy man. His daughter Joanne born about 1600, probably in Yarcombe Devon, England., married Thomas Newberry about 1619, in Yarcomber. Jane Dabinot, the second wife of Thomas Newberry was a cousin of Joanne. She was probably the daughter of John and Joan Dabinot.
