The famous Dorsetshire painter James Thornhill -- http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Thornhill,_James_%28DNB00%29 -- had one son named John. That John would have been born before 1734, probably by a fair number of years, One wonders if that John is an ancestor to "our" John above? |
