Check out the beta version of familysearch.org at http://beta.familysearch.org - They are combining several features that used to be separate. If they have an image you can save it to your computer with one easy click.

Is this the same as:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start

This is very cool. I put in my father's name and found a link to a great uncle's marriage license in Canada - giving me her parents' names I never had.

Ric -- no it seems different from the pilot program.

The beta includes "pilot" and other features they are working on. You will have one log-in to access all features. Here is the article explaining the beta version http://bit.ly/9TeXJr They want feed back during beta. It will eventually replace all versions including new.familysearch which is just for church members right now. It has the family tree function.
