Hello @Angus--you've had 3 curators weigh in now at http://www.geni.com/discussions/6000000009928223937?msg=60000000099..., so I hope that helped! |

Robert Drury has been merge with Robert Darcy, he has a set of incorrect parents and the wife Lady Elizabeth Tyrell Darcy (deceased) does not belong with him, she is also attached to Robert Darcy. I think I was able to get all the children in their correct places but Geni will not let me break the connection with the wrong parents and wife. Thank you for any help. |

This is a link to the correct wife, he is already connected to her and I have a profile that is linked in with others but I do not have permissions with the main and have requested to merge, (Geni will not let me unlink mine).
If you are not able to use the profile of Anne Calthorpe here is the link to the other duplicate for Robert Drury which will connect with the correct parents. account deleted Thank You |

Joan Plantangent and Joan Beauford are stacked here and I can't undo these 2..keep getting a tech difficulties message. I tried doing some other stuff first, removing wrong relationships from the first profile, but still didn't work. There are 2 different Joan's merged into Joan Plantagent to begin with which need to be dealt with afterward, but this needs to be un-merged first.

Even if I am the main manager on those I leave it to the new curator Private User who seems to know this line better and obviously, based on the Revisions info, are working on this line. With her new curator privileges this job should be easier now. For further such requests. In case of parent conflicts please tell what is the correct set and data, - it saves us a lot of time and even people without any knowledge of the line might be able to easy fix errors. |

If I new who the correct parents were, I would certainly fix it myself. When I have no idea what parentage is correct, I am asking the curators to fix it. This is the best I can reasonably do. I am trying to be helpful. If I am just causing more chaos, please let me know and I will stop pointing out problem areas. Heaven knows I do not wish to make things worse. |

I think the problem with too many parents in most cases is smiley that there are so many people working on same lines and each have there separate set of parents or in cases like myself they have family members who have married other family members and going backwards they end up eventually in the same place. Sometimes you can get them to merge but sometimes it just for whatever reason won't let you merge. God knows I tried on several of mine. Hope you have better luck. Judy |
