How was this Tree allowed to spiral into such a huge merger mess? Many, many hours of work produced clean family lines back beyond Charlemagne. I have declined requests for mergers with my tree, after viewing the mess, so many multiple ancestors on merger trees, only to have my refusal overridden, thereby obliterating my lineage. What a mess! How will it ever be straightened out? |

Actually we don't have to wait for the geni platform, because your curating team is hard at work and if I may toot my own horn, already making a difference. In the area of the tree I've been working in ("Mayflower" passengers and the related families), I see a huge difference just from my own efforts. And when my collaborators work with me in getting the genealogy clearly defined and properly documented, it is a moment for great pride. I don't know which area of the tree is bothering you the most, but please feel free to "tag" a profile and add it to this discussion: http://www.geni.com/discussions/6000000009835758162 A curator will "catch" the case and be glad to help you. |
