The grave stone is a good source, but I'm also seeing Wikipedia cited as a source. Most genealogists agree that Wikipedia isn't a good source because anybody can post anything, right or wrong. But Wikipedia or any encyclopedia can be used as a reference to trace sources. If that source is found and verified, that ORIGINAL source should be cited, not Wikipedia. |
