Empty suggested merges in my Tree Matches list?

Over the last week, I've noticed a surprising phenomenon:

When I go to my Tree Matches list, many, many of the suggested Tree Matches will have no suggestions. See, for instance, http://www.geni.com/search/matches/6000000006994786589 - which appeared in my list today.

After viewing, they will disappear from the list (good). I went so far as to empty my list of all but 8 matches that Geni thought I should look at, but wouldn't allow me to view (while Geni said there were 15), which felt good - but today it's back at 169. Empty matches again.

What's happening here?

I too was just about to complain about this and I saw this discussion.

This is another reason why we have to come to an agreement of using ONE and ONLY ONE means of reporting problems.

So doesn't that include you in the 'WE' statement?

That thread is about getting the link at footer to the forum back, other than that I only point out why they should keep the forum.
I don't mind to have it as it is today where all Family tree related discussion is here while bugs, problems is done at the forum
