This child was misnamed on the census record. It was a female named Wilma Ann: born 9 Jan.1904 in Centerville, Leon, Texas. She died 1 May 1981 in Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas

Why not just go into the profile and 'edit'.

I have MALE ancestors named Tilly that are male and also male Consider....

Or are I being too simplistic?

Which profile are you discussing?

I thought I was answering Dorene's question. About Wilma Ann being misnamed and a female...I guess I read the question wrong?? I thought a female was mis-entered as male and the name was mucked up but should have read Wilma Ann...I got the impression it got converted to William...

Dorene did not mention a profile just a situation that perplexed her.
