John Reynolds, of Wethersfield

This is the "top of the tree" for Lois Mary Reynolds Mainz

I wonder if we can match it up?

Ive suggested merges for his wife and son, but need some help to do so with this match:

Isn't Abijah a man's name, not to be confused with the woman's name of Abigail? Just sayin'.

I merged up a bunch in the area and am loading any Reynolds and spouse to the Project.

I look forward to reading the PDF file you added to the Project also.

Re the PDF file, I am trying to evaluate it as a source and would appreciate your point of view; at first glance, it looks pretty well put together but it has some major gaps (most of Boston line under Robert); please take a look at #14, Thomas Reynolds, son of George; the pdf list of children barely resembles the profile of Thomas that is in the tree Thomas Reynolds, of Isle of Wight, VA which may explain why the Virginia tree is so snarled up with various John's and Thomas's

I found a stray "branch," Lincolnshire c. 1741, top of the branch here:

George Reynolds, of Whaplode Drove

interesting, but no way I see yet to connect them in at this point

Abijah can be man or woman

Ah, didn't know that. But Abijah is not the same as Abigail. :)

The Lincolnshire twig is safely in this Project now and one day someone may be able to connect the dots ... or not.

Still on Connecticut, will look at Virginia / and the PDF later on.

Hi, there! I'll look, but John Reynolds 1638, Wethersfield, may be the furthest back that I have.
