Inaccurate Information

Please note that not everyone is checking information they are adding to various family trees. I have far more inaccuracies now since someone is accepting merges to our tree without bothering to check if what they are adding is correct or not. (As adding the same individual several times for every different set of information found, parents long dead before the birth of a supposed child, etc.) If no one is going to make the effort to be accurate as much as possible there isn't much point in any of this as no one can accept the trees as anything but fantasy. There are people who will do no more than match a name then assume the connection is correct or they will do whatever they can to make sure they have a connection to royalty. I find this very sad, it confuses the search for our heritage, which should also be a search for the truth.
