As there is no "heads-up" communication from Geni on release of new functionality to the language managers (=typically accompanied by new phrases to translate), it would be really useful (save time wading through locked phrases/debris/backlog waiting for clarification) to easily identify the most recently released phrases.

I, for one, would like to "hit the streets" with a translated user interface on new functionality as close up to the blogg announcement as possible (ideally simultaneously).

BUMP - on the request for filtering out locked phrases...same objective...make better use of the translators resource.

Obviously translation is not the main issue that Geni developers think about

how can we make them understand that the translators community is important and relevant?

Geni doesn't have a dev server open to the public, translators and users alike. At least it isn't as cold outside when you have company.

I see that my feature request hasn't made it onto the front page of the translators project. Who do I need to sleep with to make it happen?

Oddbjørn - Not able to edit?

What the h. - WHY are all qualified translators removed as collaborators on this project?

Sounds like a control freak action. I definitely dislikes locked projects.
