Katzin, Leonard I.

Leonard I. Katzin, 90, died peacefully on July 24, 2005 at his home in Ra'anana Israel. He was married to his beloved wife Alice Ginsburg Katzin for 46 years until her death in 1984. He was the loving father of Ruth Johnston Johnston (Lee) of Framingham, MA, Martha Simon Barry (Barry) of Los Angeles, CA, Libby Unger Unger (Rabbi Michael of Zichron Yaakov, Israel, and Judy Katzin Katzin ( David Kaplan Kaplan) of Ra'anana, Israel. He was much loved by his 23 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. He was a research chemist with the Manhattan Project at the University of Chicago during WWII and at Argonne National Laboratory from its founding until his retirement in 1978.
