If I can call on you to help work out a very simple working method for getting mistaken images fixed in "the big tree?"
As you know, I think, straightening out the results of many merges and duplicates can result in the wrong images being attached to the wrong profiles. Curators cannot remove those images at this point: they belong to the profile "manager."
In addition, I think a guideline for image attribution (event, description, attribution) should be developed.

What "help" do you have in mind?
I agree that in fixing the tree we focus on the people and their relations but not on the pictures, or for that matter the "About Me" write-ups. The right person for the "About Me" is generally obvious; for the photos it isn't.
