There seems to be a difference in opinion, Two different Josephs perhaps?
Who was his father? Martin Underwood or John Underwood?
I can fix this but I am loath to do it, without proof.
Curators? Those of you well versed in American genealogy (which is not my forte)?
This might take some time to untangle ...

Maybe you could work on the documenting / sourcing piece while I work on merging up / down / around? Somehow I'm in the Eames now ...
I don't have personal data for this side of my mother's family. But I'd be glad to do my usual judicious Internet and Google books scouting. I was about to get around to the Twitchells and the Underwoods :)
