William Reynolds of Exeter

Ben Angel,

I saw you messing around in this tree.

1. When did *you* become a Reynolds? I joined you up to the Family Project, welcome. So far we are proving that Reynolds / Reignolds / Reginoles / Reynaud's do in fact have common descent.

2. When did Reynolds become Quaker???

Best,
now really a cousin Erica

Is this William who married Margaret Exton? Where was the name 'Tillman located? Henry Reynolds, son of William and Margaret married Prudence Clayton whose family were members of the Society of Friends (Quakers) Their children seem to have become Quakers as some are mentioned in Quaker Monthly Meeting minutes.
Still trying to proove who William's ( !606-1664) parents were...help.

Hi Penelope,

No, I think *this* is the William Reynolds m. Margaret Exton you're looking for:

William Reynolds of Exeter

The profile and line is not sourced out yet unfortunately. There are some terrific resources on the "Projects page" here to help, and of course I will help as well.

So far I have two, maybe three Reynolds branches in my tree ... wouldn't mind a Quaker branch too!

Just post questions as they come up here in discussions and we'll get there.
