"how to get a girl around your age to go out with you"?

Add her profile as your partner/wife in Geni and send her an invite!
(Since Geni doesn't show the tree before clicking 'yes, he is my family member', you might actually get a response, for a while at least, but be prepared to pay alimony, should she change the relationship to 'ex').

Learning how to use the Shift key to type names with an initial capital letter and a few punctuation marks might help as well :)

Perhaps a family tree site isn't the best place to look. Need to deepen the gene pool a bit, ya know?

Why should it be reported?
This project already has followers who may recommend someone, should they consider Jesse a suitable candidate for a relative of theirs.

Choosing a partner is one of the most important decisions in life. A family tree site might be a good way of checking if a potential spouse is a close relative - long lost first cousin or half sibling (in that case a relationship is fine unless you plan to add descendants to the tree).

A Pro user might be able to help you make an advanced search - female users born between 1995 and 1996 located near you.

Geni might not be the best place to look for a relationship but users here may have an interest in genealogy - a common hobby is a good starting point :)

Private User I like your post!

Mike Stangel When you will add "Like" and "DisLike" options (like in Facebook) to Geni posts, topics, profiles, photos, comments, documents, videos etc?
This is a "Must-To-Have" functionality!

We've discussed a Like button (Dislike won't happen)... but "Must-have"? More than support for adoption, or the ability to undo merges?

Redone to correct my stupidity
Mike, I really think you should have a Dislike button for the suggestions. You have a Like button but no way to know if people don't like the idea.

Fair enough. Here's my advice, that I wish someone had told me when I was 15: be honest about who you are and what you like. Don't be afraid to share this information with the people around you, and don't sweat it when someone else decides that's not to their liking -- in the end you'll be most happy spending time with someone who appreciates you for who you really are. Good luck to you!

In new Geni Help Centre the Like button is already active!

Lauri,
you can always report a project to a Curator, who can check it out and "handle" it. This is VERY rarely done though, as only projects that are clearly spam or deliberately offensive would qualify.

This project seems innocent enough as is his other one.

Jesse, my advice is get away from your PC and interact with people DIRECTLY.

i am doing this in school during study hall and this is the only way i can talk to people we are not aloud to talk and if i tried to talk to them by passing notes i would get caught because the teacher is sitting right between us.
