Hello,
I am trying to find out if I still have any family in Ukraine. My grand-father's name is BASILE (or BASIL) ALEXEENKO.
Please let me know if you can help.

Hello!

I just want to confirmed that my grand-father's full name is BASILE ALEXEENKO. He was born in Ukraine and when arriving in Belgium he got married in Liège to MARIE CAROLINE OLIVIER.

I just want to say that there are no such Ukrainian/Russian/Bulgarian etc first names as Basile, Basil, Basili, Bassili, Basilij or Bassilij (in Cyrillic).
exists Vasil:

exists also (rare) Vassili: http://www.geni.com/search?group=everyone&names=%D0%92%D0%B0%D1...

Most popular is Vasilij: http://www.geni.com/search?group=everyone&names=%D0%92%D0%B0%D1...

But no with B.
