Does anyone have external sources that would help us determine at what point the name altered from Colhoun to Calhoun (and others)? I assume that the change from Colquhoun to Colhoun was completed after the immigration to Ireland, and the change from Colhoun to Calhoun (and others) was completed after the immigration to the Americas. Any verifiable info on that?
My resource (from my aunt, which utilizes the LDS data) records the names in that manner, and so if there is no opposition I will edit the name to Colhoun.
