Johann Christian Grobe and his wife Sophie Margaretha Nather immigrated to "Amerika" in the spring of 1852 as indicated in the extracted church records. They were married July 13, 1824 in Herbsleben. I have no idea where they went to. A good guess to start might be the Rib Lake area in Wisconsin????
