May I request that the ONLY adequate informational source (I realize that there a lot of websites out there on the Leigh family) be the Burke's Peerage. There is also a website that Sir Richard Adamson has had publish for the correct information to be publically obtain for his concern over the dormancy of the de Leigh Baronetcy of So. Carolina - his concern is that the Crown DOES NOT order this line "Extinct", that website is

there is an online source for Burke's if you do not own a reference set I know that 5 years ago Richard Adamson alerted me that the publishing company in UK was being sold and at that time he helped me get the last set for a "steal" (he had paid over 800 quid for his set - he got me a deal at 200 quid directly from the publishing company) I have no idea what the sets are going for now. |
