I think the name on this profile is incorrect. I don't think the first name is known, and that Jacob is the profile's husband's name. Can someone please correct?

You're correct. He's on the Internet - Occupation: 1624, "Heimberger" (chief administrative officer) of Seelbach. So is his child Ehla, but no wife's name is given on the couple of family trees I saw. I assume wife's name is unknown.

Thanks for fixing this. The whole area needs quite a bit of clean-up. I've been doing what I can.

You're welcome. We really need someone who understands this area and the German records.

If I wasn't so busy with Spain all the time, I'd do it. My mom is from Westphalia.

My German is very rusty. My French benefits from having heard Spanish for 39 years, but I only used German recently in 2004 in Berlin for a few days.

Do we have a German curator?

Victar would know better than I would. There are quite a few who speak and read and can do research in German, but I'm not coming up with the name of an active curator from Germany/Austria.
