Gene Smith,
it would be much more effective if you posted each such link with a link to the relevant Geni Profile. For example, I'm betting that your second link refers to Henare.

As these all seem to be private profiles MOST OF WHICH YOU manage, wouldn't it be better to either make this a Family discussion, or better yet, put the links in the "About Me" section of each profile.

Your next to last link, requires a log-in to see, so this link will only be of use to yourself...

Thank-you for your suggestion. I had no clue where to put these references. I will move them each to the 'About Me' sections in the associated profiles. I am happy for any other advice you can give. Regards, Gene.

Gene Smith -
In addition to or instead of putting in 'About Me' - you can also go to Media Tab and then 'Add Documents' -- Documents can be added via a link -- and then Geni in effect takes a picture of the website - so when you look at the document you can just look at the geni-picture of the web-site -- which is very helpful if the website has moved or changed or etc., which has happened a number of times to me -- or you can then click on the URL.

Do most folks feel you should both put link in 'About Me' and as Document, or ???

If I have a source, I put the link in 'About Me' so I'm sure it'll be seen when people go to that profile and consider merging it or otherwise altering it. But you should also put the link in the Document tab. I do that for projects -- add documents / links.

Since I make sure to keep all of the profiles I manage Private, info in 'About Me' would not be seen.

Private User I probably answer thinking of historic profiles where we want to make sure that people don't change well documented information, which is why I tend to link to it early in the About Me.
