Hi,

I am trying to find the parents of William August Ihlenfeldt (1898-1962) and also his children of the marriage to Hilda Ihlenfeldt
Hilda Martha Buchler (1901-1972)

They lived in the Stutterheim area.

The details I have are:

Birth: 27 May, 1898
Death: 24 Nov, 1962, Cape Province, South Africa

No marriage details but they were parents of Irene Ida Sternberg (nee Ihlenfeldt)

No, I don't use Genes reunited.

He could be my profile:
Wilhelm August Ihlenfeldt

His name was listed as one of the children on the Death Notice of my 3rd great-aunt Anna Ernestine Louise Trahms (Stutterheim).

If I follow the birthdates it seem that the children are indicated according to birth order. I am sure this is William born 1898.

Hi Brendan,

Some of the information has been useful BUT I still have not (unfortunately) been able to confirm the parents of William August Ihlenfeldt (1898-1962) to enable me to "connect the dots".

There is a Baptist pastor in Kingwilliamstown who is a Ihlenfeldt. His initial is R and the address is Bethany Em, Aycliff St.

Perhaps you can contact him.
