Flam Heshel Besht Link

Wondering if anyone could possibly provide me with any details on our great great grandmother. She married a Flamm, they lived in Belz, She was a Heshel and a descndant from the Besht.

Thank yuu for your kind response, I have asked him however he does not know. In fact our branch of the family was unknown to most Flamm's. What is interesting is that we are not such distant relatives only second cousins twice removed.

Perhaps I can find you listed in Neil Rosenstein's Unbroken Chain. Are you saying her last name is Heschel?

My great great granfathers name was Sholom Flamm - he lived in belz. He married a Heschel girl - she was a descendant from the Aper Rov.

What is the unbroken chain about?

I will see if there is any information on her name. The Flamm, Heschel & Rubin family is well represented in the book. But, as you say, women's family information is often not recorded.
