Maria Coster's date of death and spelling of her name

Maria could not have died in 1734 as she married Daniel de Vries in 1738.

Also, the original spelling of Maria's family name is Coster with "C" not a "K." Old Cape records often mixed the two up. We can say this with some certainty because she signed her petition for divorcce in April 1737 as Maria Coster. Also, the original handwritten inventory of her estate in 1729, just before she married her second husband, G. C. Oppermann gives her name spelled with a "C".
