I'm a little confused. There aredocuments that show Lydia was married to Josiah Soule. Was there more than one. did she marry both brothers. does anyone have any insight to that.

Thanks

That looks to be a geni error, Richard!

I've "divorced" her from Joshua and "marrying her" to Josiah Soule. I'll post back when it's all fixed.

Oh. Well, that's cool. I'm new to this stuff and thought I was missing something.
Thanks for your swift reply.

All fixed now I think.

You might want to join the Delano Family Project here and help document the family.

Thanks for your help! Your project is awesome!
I'm hopefully going to be visiting the Standish Burial Grounds in a couple of weeks so this is very timely.

Thanks again.

Richard

You raised a question about Ester Soule

Looking into it I think we've stumbled into a Pilgrim ancestry controversy or three. I've tried to put in some documentation but the evidence seems to suggest that Esther Soule, widow of Samuel Sampson, married to John Soule second, was more likely the daughter of Samuel Nash?

Oh that would be amazing to visit the Standish Burial Grounds! Take lots of photos! I love old cemeteries -- and of course never went to see them when I lived in Boston.:) Fond memories of one on Cape Cod though -- I used to shortcut through it from my parents' summer home to Route 6. :) :)

I posted the question of Esther's Soule's parents in the Delano Project:
