After reading Tim's discussion made me think about ancestry especially family trees.
I have gone back to 1775 with George Coole and Elizabeth Austin and now have a large brick wall.
On ancestry there is a least two trees going back further and I cannot find how they have obtained their information, I have contacted them one cannot remember and the other admitted he had copied from another tree. I have visited Bristol Record Office and have got nowhere.
My Aunt said that our Coole family came over from Northern Ireland, but she died 8 years ago. The only other knowledge I have I always remember my mother telling me that my father went over to Ireland in 1938 looking for family graves but as a child one only half listens.
Just wondering if anybody has any further information on the Coole family going back.
