On the top menu bar of Geni look for an icon that looks like an envelope. Click it, and on the "Messaging" screen click on the blue "Compose" button. A form will appear called "Create Message".
In the "To: " box you can choose to send your message to any of the following groups:
"Immediate Family",
"Family",
"Immediate Family of
"Descendants of "
