Willie Hartsell is not Hattie Mae Poston's brother he is HER SON

there seems to be a bit of confusion on the family tree..Willie Bell Hartsell was born to Hattie Mae Poston
as her son..he is NOT her brother.
Neither is Pearlie her sister, she is her DAUGHTER.
maybe I misunderstood but it seemed to me somone on this site had the relationships
confused. I do know that Charlie Hendricks (Hattie Mae's grandson from Annie Shinn Hendricks)
believed that both Willie (my grandfather) and Pearlie (my aunt) were her siblings and not her children
It's not true..check out the census records from 1910 to find both Pearlie and Willie living with their MOTHER
Hattie Mae SHINN married to Dan Shinn a year after John Adam Hartsell had died.
then the 1930 census where pearl is living with hattie in Salisbury NC at the age of 26 with her
son, Richard, age 8 and Hattie Shinn who was listed as head of household though she had a son,
Charlie Cranfield, 9 mos. old at the time.
We have NO record of Pearlie Hartsell (Pruitt?) from that time on that we can prove is the SAME
Pearlie Hartsell who was sister to my grandfather Willie.
i'd love to know what happened to her. If anyone has further information I'd be so, so grateful for that.
