I am trying to pin down Lydia Huntington who married William Groat possibly in 1785 or later. I have children and husband but cannot be sure who her parents were. I have them as Simon Huntington and Ann Fuller. William was born in NY or CT we think and died in Whitby Ontario. Lydia was born in CT or Quebec and died possibly in Pickering TWP in 1826. Their children were Henry S (1811-1875), Preston (july 1803 - 14 Jun 1883), Standish (3 May 1805 - 19 Mar 1873), Abiel(ca 1811-1831), Edward (b ca 1817, d 26 Oct 1875 in Ontario CA), and Catherine or Christiana(ca1813 --1871 or later). After William died she married Samuel Munger, Sr. born 1767 in NY and died 23 Sept 1826, Dulling Creek Canada. She married Munger in May 1817 in Toronto.

Here is an obit for Simon that has shed some light on her : Christian messenger, Feb.1873-Dec. 1873, Vol.9. Obituary from mrperison from ancestry. May 2010
