In case you haven`t discovered it yet, Geni have now changed the rules. Unless you sign up to a subscription for Geni Pro you cannot add back past your third great grandfather.

A couple of us discovered this when we had an email from Scotland from an extended family member who i related to our 1st cousin 4x removed. His line wasn`t in our tree but his g g grandmother was and when we tried to add his line back to him so that we could send the invite we couldn`t unless we signed with Geni Pro.

It feels a little like they have taken over our tree as even if you manage a profile you can`t add to it They control all our info.. Annoying!!! and totally brassed off!!
